It's the first week of September, and if you haven't noticed, the days are getting shorter. Which means. . . (drumroll, please). . .it's time for our Three Season Harvest Adventure to get started!
Believe it or not, this is our tenth year offering locally grown, organically raised produce from our farm! We'll be doing some special things to celebrate through the upcoming year, including a special "decade-ent" soap and some giveaways! I'm so grateful for the network of people who support this endeavor, and I'm excited to share this journey with you.
We are again offering a customizable CSA with 12 boxes between September and April. We are also offering an a la carte option, in which you can order only what you want, and are not obligated to order on a regular basis. You can pick up your produce here at the farm or at a drop site in Allison Hill, Uptown, or Camp Hill. More information about both options can be found on the registration form.
For 2024-25 there are two significant changes. First, pick up day is moving to Thursday!! Hopefully this will not cause any scheduling conflicts for your household. Second, we have been informed that McGrath's Bakehouse will not be able to provide bread this year because their ovens are at capacity, but I have made arrangements with a new baker so that you can keep getting fresh sourdough loaves with your veggies. Harriet Willis of Hattie's Bread Box will be stepping up to fill the gap, and I'm excited to partner with her and help her grow her fledgling bakery.
Other than that, you can look forward to the same variety of hand picked, lovingly grown fresh produce, with just enough dirt to remind you of its origins and help you feel connected to the soil. :)
To register you can fill out the google form here or print and return the registration form.
